The corrective exercise process allows your trainer to pinpoint overactive
muscles that create movement dysfunction. The simple
assessment method identifies the structures that are
the cause of many musculoskeletal injuries and/or
biomechanical abnormalities. Once identified, your
trainer will be able to create a programme to specifically
target these muscles and develop your ability to alter
any incorrect movement patterns.
Common and easily observed movement dysfunctions
are: flat feet, feet turning out (duck feet) and knees
caving in (particularly in females). These dysfunctions
can be apparent from a young age and if left untreated
will almost certainly result in injury of some kind
during a lifetime.
Corrective Exercise sessions will last for 30 minutes
and can take place anywhere that is convenient to
you. You may not even have to change into workout
kit!
